Cover photo : In the last few months, Irfan Hussain had
began contributing his art work to manushi. The cover of Issue 108 was done by Irfan and he had agreed to take overall charge of designing manushi as well as the illustrations, without much regard for money. He was to do the cover for this issue for the article on the dangerous state of our nuclear reactors. However, it was delayed on account of his illness. Before he could deliver it to us, he was brutally murdered. As a tribute to him and in his memory, we are using another of his drawings on our cover. It was a pleasure to work with him, and an honour to publish his drawings. He will be missed.
