When gypsy parents migrate from one place to another,
their children lose the opportunity to be educated.
A CRY-supported hostel for narikuravar children helps
to overcome this in Tamilnadu.

Our own schools
In the 1980s, the primary school for Mathubadi village
was 6 kilometres away. Bariapada, another village
had a primary school 5 kms away. Today,
with help from formal learning centres, CRY, and the Dalit
and Adivasi Liberation Trust, Orissa's forgotten villages
offer a better future for their children.
